She is very detailed and thoughtful, customizing the class to make sure you are doing the movements properly and safely for the best results. She pushes you to build your strength but never beyond what is good for you at your level of fitness at the time. The class starts and ends on time and we get right down to business utilizing every minute; and it's always fun. I have been to other Pilates classes and none have been as effective for my body as Evie's method of teaching. "I started taking Evie's class in the summer of 2013. I was already in good shape…or so I thought, I bike, do yoga, walk, roller-blade but I didn't realize that my core could be so much stronger and that is where Evie comes in. She has attention to detail, always making sure that we are doing the exercise correctly, which is so important because if you don't have that you could really hurt yourself. I feel that my core and my stomach are so much tighter. I have to walk up stairs to my house often carrying groceries etc and I would sometimes feel that in my lower back, but not anymore. Evie is an extremely good teacher and she makes the class fun, too. I would definitely recommend her."

"The class increased my flexibility and core strength. It also helped to relieve my chronic lower back pain. For me personally, the core stretching and elongation exercises left my body feeling longer and adjusted. This Pilates class does not require students to perform strenuous movements, and it is not high impact. Both beginners and advanced students will enjoy it.
